MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY
MSM is for 6th-8th grade students. It is our desire to help them understand God’s word and give Him glory in all that they do by learning to love God, love people, and make disciples. We do that through Worship, Teaching of Scripture, Connecting in small groups, Serving others, and Reaching others with the Gospel. Oh! And we have a lot of fun doing it!

Mid-Week
Wednesdays || 6:30pm || ARC
Our mid-week gatherings are designed for students to have fun through active games, worship, topical Bible lessons, and most importantly small groups!
Weekend
Sundays || 11am || ARC
Our weekend gatherings are designed for students to have a worship service specifically for them. The teaching is on basic theology and goes through the books of the Bible.
SERVING IN MSM
Opportunities Abound!
We are currently seeking adults to guide, mentor and care for middle school students.
On Sundays, adults help build faith and fellowship among all our middle school students during large group gatherings.
During our Wednesday youth nights, adults lead small groups of middle school students, which are generally separated by grade.
More leaders are needed!

Dear Parents,
We wanted to update you regarding camps at Hume Lake for this summer. Currently, we are planning on going to Hume Lake and have a limited number of spots available for each camp. We want to give your family all the current information we have so you can start looking forward to and praying about your student going to Hume Lake.
WE WILL NOT BE TAKING INCOMING FRESHMEN TO WILDWOOD
The reason: Wildwood is designed as a discipleship camp. We want our brand-new Freshmen to come and enjoy all the amenities Ponderosa has to offer before experiencing the deep discipleship moments of Wildwood.
As we are preparing for Hume Lake this summer, we are excited about our students’ interest and are seeking adults who would like to be a counselor with our team. As a counselor, here is what you’ll get:
Free Hume Lake Camp for a week!

HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY
July 16-22
(9th-12th grades + Super Seniors)
Two camp options: Wildwood or Ponderosa
(8th grade students who are becoming 9th grade students)
One camp option: Ponderosa
WILDWOOD (cost $755)
Wildwood is Hume Lake’s discipleship camp for high school followers of Christ who wish to push themselves beyond the familiar into an extraordinary life that is marked by intentionally pursuing Jesus.
Wildwood presents students with daily devotions, purposeful interactions, candid discussions about their lives, and struggles, and answering God’s call for them to go deeper in their relationship with Him. Wildwood emphasizes discipleship by overcoming the obstacles of our world through learning to discipline oneself and experience true joy in Christ.
PONDEROSA (cost $925)
At Ponderosa, you will hear the Gospel preached, be challenged through scripture, engage in awesome worship through music, and get time—both alone and with your church—to process what God did in your life throughout your week at camp. You’ll get to be part of Hume’s high-energy recreation, which includes playing in the mud, running the Gauntlet, doing the Bike Jump, and dominating in Kajabe Kan Kan.
MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY

(same as our high school students)
MEADOW RANCH (cost $925)
Meadow Ranch is a phenomenal place for junior high students to get away from everyday distractions. This camp will offer an amazing way to learn more about God and who He is. From outdoor activities, energetic recreation, and suspenseful night games to exceptional speakers, inspiring live production, and impactful worship. Your student’s time at Hume will make them want to come back for more!

Big Valley Grace Community Church
Tree Climbers is for kids and for the men (fathers, uncles, grandfathers) in their lives! This weekly adventure offers men the opportunity to spend dynamic, profitable time teaching their boys God’s Word. Simple projects and games help men and boys build relationship in a fun, comfortable atmosphere. Relationship along with memorization and life application of God’s Word facilitates the discipleship of boys, creating a growth experience for both the men and the boys.
First Year: $45
Subsequent Years: $25
Boys, ages 8-11, are discipled toward Christ and biblical manhood through a comprehensive process of life skills, physical and mental activities, fun service, achievement, Bible memory, and stories. Adult Christian men serve as role models and demonstrate Christian manhood in action.
