WELCOME!
We are excited that you are interested in our church and hope that this is the first step in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ!
Here are some frequently asked questions to help you get started in your visit with us.
No! You can wear whatever you feel most comfortable wearing. Some people wear coats and ties; others wear jeans and t-shirts, and some wear shorts and flip flops.
Maybe! We leave that up to you as the parent to decide whether or not your child may be disruptive to those around you. Our gatherings are designed for adults (which means they tend to be a bit boring for children). We do offer various Children’s Ministry options at each of our gatherings (for ages birth through 8th grade), which we recommend for your children to learn about God at their level.
No! We do receive an offering at some point in our gatherings because God’s Word tells us to, but you don’t have to give anything unless you want to give.
No! There are lots of people who are members of Big Valley Grace (and we hope that one day that you’d become a member), but you don’t have to be a member to attend.
No! We do encourage you to bring a Bible, but it isn’t required. All the Bible verses in each week’s message are on the big screens for all to see.
Yes! If you need help finding your way around, stop at the Information Center, located in the Lobby at the front of the main building (Worship Center). Someone will be happy to help you.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
You can expect worship of Jesus to be the primary focus of our Weekend Gatherings. We worship through music, giving, fellowship, service, and teaching.
We devote 45 minutes of our time together to learn about the way of Jesus and to be obedient to the abundant life that He has called us to.

Modesto Campus — SAT 6PM || SUN 9AM & 11AM
Ceres Campus — SUN 10AM
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

WHERE DO I GO?
Our Modesto Campus is located at 4040 Tully Rd and encompasses our church buildings, Big Valley Christian School buildings, and sports fields. Our worship gatherings take place in our Worship Center, the front of which is most easily accessed from one of the Tully Rd entrances, just south of the Snyder Ave stoplight.
Our Ceres Campus gatherings takes place at the Ceres Community Center, located at 2701 4th Street in Ceres.
For both locations, we have volunteers in our parking lots, at our doors, and around our campuses to help you find the place you’re looking for, as well as to direct you to the children’s and students’ ministry rooms.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Whether your child is an infant or in high school, we have you covered. We have special ministries for each age group that communicates the Gospel to them in a way that they can comprehend.
All of our volunteers have passed background checks and love youth.
