Welcome!

We are excited that you are interested in our church and hope that this is the first step in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ!

We know what it’s like to be a first time visitor. It isn’t easy. Anxiety. Uncertainty. Not knowing what to expect. We get it. Keep in mind that the thousands who call Big Valley Grace their church home once stood in your shoes. We hope the information below will be helpful as you plan your weekend visit!

If you still have questions, check out our FAQs at the bottom or feel free to contact us!

What should I expect?

sat 6pm // sun 9, 11am

You can expect our weekend gatherings to be all about JESUS. Everything we do and teach is about our Savior, Jesus. Weekends are a beautiful moment for our church to gather as a group of misfits that have been brought together because of what Jesus has done in our lives.

You can expect worship of Jesus to be the primary focus of our Weekend Gatherings. We worship through music, giving, fellowship, service, and teaching.

A major component of Weekend Gatherings are teaching messages.  We devote 45 minutes of our time together to learn about the way of Jesus and to be obedient to the abundant life that He has called us to.

What about my kids?

Whether your child is an infant or in high school, we have you covered. We have special ministries for each age group that communicates the Gospel to them in a way that they can comprehend.

Whether it is holding babies, making crafts with toddlers, or mentoring junior high students, all of our volunteers have passed background checks and love youth. They simply love to serve because of what Jesus has done in their lives.

Where do I go?

We recognize BIG is in our name, and for a guest our campus can be overwhelming. Our Modesto Campus is located at the crossroads of Pelandale and Tully and includes sports fields, Big Valley Christian School buildings, and our church buildings.

Our worship gatherings take place in our Worship Center and Venue. You can follow the signage around campus to easily find these locations.

What if I get lost? Great question! We have volunteers in our parking lots, at our doors, and around campus to help you get to the correct location as well as to direct you to the children’s locations. Lastly, you can go to our Information Center in our Worship Center to receive any more information you would like.
